RACIAL INSIGHTS
“A niggER is a bad-minded, ignorant-ass, low-down, piece of shit individual.”
...That is what my father would tell me when I was a boy. I didn’t fully understand back then. In those years, I only recalled hearing the word NiggER used as a negative racial epithet referring to Black People in a few TV shows and Movies. However, as I became an educated, evolved, and socially-experienced adult black man, I realized that my father was exactly right…for I had personally and logically drawn a very similar conclusion.

MONTGOMERY RIVERFRONT BRAWL: On August 5, 2023, a large-scale, legendary altercation took place at the riverfront dock in downtown Montgomery, Alabama. A white man attacked a Black riverboat co-captain, Dameion Pickett of the Harriott II—a city-owned riverboat—after he (and, previously, other staff members) had made multiple attempts to get the eventual attacker—and his accompanying white boaters—to move their privately-owned pontoon boat that was moored in the Harriott II‘s usual spot, obstructing the city riverboat’s attempt to dock. This extended period of non-cooperation from those pontoon boaters resulted in escalating tension among the passengers and crew aboard the Harriott II, who were waiting to disembark. The incident gained significant media attention due to its violent nature, the racial undertones, and Montgomery’s racially charged history. This is the Instagram video below—with Iconic Narration.
